Wavve Boating Recognized as a 2026 Boating Industry Top Product

Wavve Boating announced today that its new Autoroute Modes feature has been recognized as one of Boating Industry’s 2026 Top Products, marking the third consecutive year the company has received the industry distinction.

Presented annually by Boating Industry, the Top Products award recognizes the marine industry’s most innovative and impactful products introduced in the past year. Wavve Boating earned recognition for Autoroute Modes, an industry first advancement in marine navigation that gives boaters the ability to customize how routes are automatically generated based on their situational preferences and water conditions.

Developed over 18 months, Autoroute Modes was designed to address a longstanding limitation in traditional marine navigation systems. Most routing tools are built primarily around obstacle avoidance, often generating routes that are technically safe but not always intuitive or aligned with how boaters actually navigate. This can create challenges in diverse waterways where following marked channels, adapting to local water conditions, and accounting for personal comfort levels are critical to safe navigation.

Autoroute Modes solves this problem by giving boaters direct control over how routes are calculated between their origin and destination. Wavve Boating users can choose between three routing options:

• Prefer Channels, which follows marked waterways for added confidence
• Most Direct, which calculates the most efficient route while accounting for vessel draft and water levels
• Balanced, which blends efficiency and safety

This personalized approach moves beyond one size fits all navigation and delivers routes that better reflect real world boating behavior.
