Lost at Sea for 24 Days
A 47-year-old man and his boat were abruptly drifted out to sea in St. Maarten due to a sudden change in the weather. He lost track of the port as he was working to mount and fix his sail which caused him to be disoriented. For 24 days the only food he had aboard was a bottle of ketchup, garlic powder, and stock cubes until he was rescued.

Candela & Polestar’s All New C-8
Two Sweden-based companies Candela and Polestar announced a partnership last August and have been hard at work creating the all-new C-8. The two companies have the goal of overcoming two major complications with electric boats including the large energy consumption from a powerboat’s hull as well as the high prices associated with electric marine batteries.
