Brunswick Corporation has recently announced its all-new boat brand known as Veer. Their X13 has an innovative and extra-durable hull and can even be equipped with an electric propulsion option.

Electric Power from Mercury

After announcing its electric outboard concept last year, Mercury has brought their all-new Avator 7.5e to the market. This model will produce 750W of power which equates to about 3.5 HP on a traditional gas-powered outboard. They also have plans to release two additional models later this month.

3D Print Your Boat

The future might actually be here with the latest technology at Tanaruz. They are 3D printing boats composed of reclaimed polypropylene (PP) with 30% glass fibre. This combination of materials has excellent mechanical properties such as resilience to elongate the strain up to 5%, and is heat, fire and chemical resistant.
